Eco-Oil location is unique in the service and protection it offers vessels within its sheltered and uncrowded waters.

Eco-Oil was originally founded for the purpose of serving tankers and other large vessels on their way to Lisnave shipyard, less than 1 mile apart, in accordance with both EC environmental and MARPOL regulations.

Reception

The jetty is equipped with a fixed telescopic gangway for easy and safe access to vessels. Vessels can discharge directly from the water berth into the reception tanks. A 1,5 ton safe working load crane is available to transfer sealed steel drums to and from vessels for sludge removal.

The site is guarded 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and holds an ISPS Code certificate.

The fire fighting equipment includes a foam producer installation and high capacity foam and water cannons.

Waste reception and gas-free certificates are issued before vessel departure.
