The project Atlantic Blue Ports, a project included into INTERREG program and financed by the European Community, will be an active presence in the next European Maritime Day, that will be held in Lisbon, on May 16 and 17 of 2019.
The consortium of Blue Ports project partners wants to raise awareness at the Maritime Community level about the dangers of discharging ship effluents at the sea, with a special focus on ballast water.
During the event, a demonstration of ballast water treatment will be made using the InvaSave technology. InvaSave is a compact and innovated equipment developed by DAMEN and will be operated by Eco-Oil – Tratamento de Águas Contaminadas S.A.
